Mobile App Development

iOS & Android app development from Dallas, for clients anywhere

Cross-platform and native mobile apps for iOS and Android — designed, built, launched and supported by the same senior team that builds your web product.

We build mobile apps the way we build web apps: one shared design system, one API, one team. For most products that means React Native — a single codebase that ships to both app stores and shares logic with your web front-end. When an app needs deep platform features, we build native.

Our mobile work spans consumer apps (Gnomi's iOS and Android news apps), workforce and marketplace apps (Linxx, connecting brand managers with workers in the field), and internal tools that replace paper and spreadsheets.

Who this is for

  • Founders launching a consumer or marketplace app on both platforms
  • Companies whose web product needs a companion mobile app that shares the same backend
  • Operations teams that need a field app for staff, drivers or technicians
  • Teams with an existing app that needs a code takeover, modernization or rescue

What's included

  • Product discovery: user flows, screens, platform requirements, App Store policies
  • UI design in Figma or implementation of your existing designs
  • React Native (Expo) or native Swift / Kotlin development
  • Backend and API development in Node.js when you don't already have one
  • Push notifications, maps and geolocation, payments (Stripe), authentication, offline support
  • Automated testing and TestFlight / Play Console beta distribution
  • App Store and Google Play submission, listing copy and screenshots
  • Post-launch monitoring, crash reporting and an update cadence

How it works

  1. Discovery

We map every screen and integration and decide cross-platform vs. native together, with a clear rationale.

  2. Design

Clickable prototype in Figma so you can test flows with real users before development.

  3. Build

Two-week sprints with builds delivered to your phone via TestFlight and Play Console.

  4. Launch & support

Store submission, review handling, analytics, and a maintenance plan for OS updates.

Frequently asked questions

React Native, Flutter or native — which should we pick?

If you also have (or plan) a React web app, React Native lets you share code, components and the team. Native makes sense for apps that lean on platform-specific hardware or need the last 5% of performance. We'll recommend one in the discovery call and explain why.

How much does a mobile app cost?

It depends on platforms, integrations and the number of user roles. Projects across web and mobile typically range from $5,000 to $250,000. We quote after discovery and can phase the build so you launch an MVP sooner.

Can you take over an existing app?

Yes. We start with a code audit, fix the critical issues, and then modernize incrementally so the app stays in the stores throughout.

Do you handle App Store submission?

Yes, including listing copy, screenshots, privacy disclosures and review back-and-forth with Apple and Google.

Do you build the backend too?

If you have an API we integrate with it. If you don't, we build one in Node.js with PostgreSQL, hosted on AWS or Vercel.
